Did the alarm not go off?
Then you probably set the alarm after midnight for the same day. Please bear in mind that the alarm should always be set the day before. Of course you also can measure within the measuring period without the alarm. However, this is only possible if you also measured the day before. => Contact
Is the date or the time incorrect?
Then read the instructions on page 24.
The date can only be changed with the help of the time display. If you want to move the date forward by a day for example, you have to let the hours run forward until the correct date and the current time is displayed.
This means that you have to forward the hours over midnight to the correct actual time and date. To change the date one day back, you have to use the minus button moving backwards in time.
However, for safety reasons the date can only be moved by 1 day each day. Please phone us if in doubt.

Did you forget to enter your menstruation?
Then you can enter it up to 3 days later. For further information read the instructions on page 18f. => Contact
Did you accidentally enter M on a day without bleeding?
In that case the device recognises that the M entered is not relevant for the analysis. Contact us in any case of doubt. => Contact
Can you not enter your menstruation any more?
Then you have probably taken too many measurements in the meantime. The device then counts the cycle days further until the next time M is entered However, this should coincide with the actual bleeding as far as possible. Contact us in any case of doubt. => Contact

Can‘t you make up your mind between the LadyComp and the Pearly?
Then please consider that the LadyComp is a one-off investment, whereas the Pearly has to be sent in for a service and a battery change every 3 years. Additionally, the LadyComp offers a lot higher comfort, with its comprehensive statistics programme and detachable sensor, than the easier to handle and much smaller Pearly.
Is your Gynaecologist sceptical?
Please bear in mind that only very few doctors actually know the LadyComp, BabyComp and Pearly and often get them mixed up with other, highly promoted devices. By contrast particularly gynaecologists who mainly focus on fertility consultation and who really know our devices are extremely enthusiastic about the helpful features of the BabyComp. => Clinical Studies

When should you seek advice from us before buying one of our devices?
Are you living in special circumstances at the moment?
Do you want to be able to make love at any time without having to think about it first?
Then the NFP (Natural Family Planning) and our devices are probably not suitable for you, as you have abstain on the fertile days (cuddling is allowed!). => Safety and the Pearl Index
Are you younger than 25 and definitely don’t want to become pregnant?
In that case you should bear in mind that no method of contraception other than abstinence offers a 100% safety. If the LadyComp, BabyComp and Pearly are used properly they offer a 99,3% safety. Most unintended pregnancies result from application errors.

Do you want to start measuring again after a pregnancy?
Then the device can show you the first ovulation but it cannot prevent an unintentional pregnancy, because the first ovulation ist not predictable.
Are you just before or going through the menopause?
In that case our devices can show you the gradual absence of ovulation. This is particularly helpful for women who know their body very well or have been using the LadyComp, Babycomp or Pearly for a long time. However, the number of green days may be rather low. If you know your body well or have been using the LadyComp for a long time, the display can be helpful. => Contact
Do you have a very irregular cycle?
Then contact us, so that we can find out together, whether our devices can help or whether they are not suitable. => Contact
Do you live an eventful life?
Are you constantly under stress?
In that case it may occur that no ovulation takes place and therefore there are no green days shown on the display. A lot of our customers only became aware of the impact caused by extreme pressure by using our devices. => Menstrual cycle
Do you sleep little or with many interruptions?
Then you should know that you ideally need 5-8 hours of undisturbed sleep for a good measuring result. Only then can the true basal body temperature be measured.
If you always sleep little and get up a lot we do not recommend using our devices. Should you get up occasionally during the night the devices can interpolate possibly deviant measurements. The safety does not suffer from this. => Using Lady-Comp
Our you en-route a lot?
Then you can use our devices because neither the BabyComp, LadyComp or Pearly are mains-operated. If you cross through time zones the measuring time can be adjusted to the new daily routine. In extreme cases measurements have to be left out. The missing measurements are interpolated by the device. In an extreme case you will receive more red days than necessary. Do you work shifts?
Then you can generally use our devices for contraception. It may occur that you receive more red days than necessary. However, planning is normally not influenced by this. => Contact
Do you have health restrictions?
Are you extremely underweight?
Then please bear in mind that your body tends to miss out ovulation to avoid you becoming pregnant. In this case the device will show red or yellow until the ovulation or the bleeding begins. => Contact
Do you regularly take medication?
Then bear in mind that some medication such as hormones have an influence on your cycle.
Ask your doctor or let us advise you in any case of doubt. => Contact
Do have above average male hormones?
Contraception based on the temperature method is probably not suitable for you, because the cycle is untypical and no green days can be shown. => Contact
Do you have a thyroid hyperfunction or hypofunction?
In that case our devices can be used but if this dysfunction is not treated, the average value has to be corrected by us after a minimum of 3 cycles in order to adjust the device to your personal situation. In case of doubt you should have your thyroid checked by a specialist. In many cases we could point out a previously unrecognised dysfunction of the thyroid due to the changed temperature values.
